The EasyGerb options dialog contains many useful features that control the exported gerbers files.

EasyGerb Options:
Respect ByBlock/ByLayer:
Block entities that are on designed layer '0', will be changed to the layer of the respective insert. |
Use Step&Repeat (MInsert Blocks):
If 'checked', all MInserted blocks will be outputted as Step/Repeat data which drastically reduces gerber file size and processing time.
Line Width(Inch):
All 0-width entities (such as lines, arcs, 0-width polylines) will be assigned this physical width (if they do not form a filled-polygon). |
Rect Flash Ratio:
Compares an entities Height-to-Width ratio to determine if it can be flashed. This feature prevents small-length traces from becoming automatically Flashed by EasyGerb. This option is only used when the "FRS" option is checked for the layer. |
Flash Circle/Rects Less Than:
All detected Circles & Rectangle shapes will only be flashed in their bounding width & length are less than this value. This option is only used when the "FRD" or "FRS" option is checked for the layer. |
Use Circular Interpolation
If 'checked', all arcs (and polyline bulges) will be outputted as Gerber Arcs which drastically reduces gerber file size and increases resolution quality. If this item is checked the "Arc Resolution" and "Arc Deviation" become deactivated. |
Arc Deviation: |
The maximum error allowed when calculating points on an arc. This feature allows designs with large and small radius arcs to equally maintain high-resolution and quality. The smaller the Arc Deviation the more accurate your final arcs will become - however exported file sizes may become larger. |
